We have been serving the glass community of the greater Washington, DC area for over 21 years!
What is your primary product or service?
Weisser Glass Studio is a complete resource center for materials and supplies, classes and workshops relating to glass art making including stained glass, fusing and kiln formed glass, mosaic, glass jewelry making, paperweight and beadmaking. Our location features a spacious retail area, a gallery of contemporary glass art & exhibitions, and a large, well-equipped studio for classes. We also offer custom glass options as well as repair services.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our friendly and highly knowledgable staff provides superior customer service and expert advice for every customer, from the new beginner to the seasoned professional. Weisser Glass Studio offers an unparalleled selection of glass and tools for many glass mediums, and a huge range of classes taught by expert instructors.

From the Beltway:
-Connecticut Avenue (exit 33), North towards Kensington.
-Go approximately 1.5 miles and turn left on Howard Ave. (your first left after the light at Knowles Avenue)
-Go straight, at the four-way stop sign. As you start down the hill we are in the first warehouse on the left; across from Sparrows and above Amicus. Take the driveway up the hill to park around back.
From The North (Connecticut or University):
- Heading south, go through the intersection where University
merges into Connecticut Avenue. Go through the next light
at Plyers Mill Rd. (The firehouse will be on the right)
- Make the next right hand turn onto Howard Avenue.
- Go straight at the 4-waystop sign. As as you start down the hill we are in the first warehouse on the left; across from Sparrows and above Amicus. Take the driveway up the hill to park around back.
