How long have you been in business?
Two Maids & A Mop has been providing house cleaning services since 2003. Our franchise in Washington, D.C. has been opened since September 2014.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide residential house cleaning services. We specialize in weekly biweekly or monthly Maintenance Packages, Top to Bottom Deep Cleans, Move In-Move Out Cleanings, and hourly Design With Time Packages.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My name is LA Martin, and I'm the owner of the Two Maids & A Mop Washington, D.C. franchise. I started as a maid in 2011, and worked my way up through the company with every promotion I could take. When I left the corporate offices, I was the Territory Manager for Tennessee producing almost $1.5 million in annual revenues. I left corporate to live my dream of owning a business. Two Maids is more than just a cleaning service to me. We are a Customer focused company who makes a huge impact on our Customers' lives. I knew I wanted to be a part of something bigger than me, and Two Maids has given me that opportunity.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have an industry breaking Pay For Performance Plan that compensates our Professional House Cleaners based on their performance and Customer satisfaction. We actively ask for our Customers' feedback, and use it to reward our Team Members and improve our service to each individual Customer. We are also an active partner for the Cleaning For A Reason Foundation, providing free cleanings to women battling cancer. It's a remarkable foundation, and one we are honored to be a part of.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have offices in Montgomery County, MD and Washington, D.C. As we grow, we will expand into northern Virginia as well. Two Maids also has offices throughout the southeast, and is actively selling franchises all across the country!

Our main office is near Old Georgetown Rd in Rockville. We service all of Montgomery County from that office!
What type of payments do you accept?
We primarily accept credit cards, but will also take checks or money orders for payment. Cash is not accepted at any Two Maids locations.

Montgomery County and Washington, D.C.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The owner, Ms. LA Martin, is the General Manager running the daily operations.
What are your hours of operation?
We are available for services Monday -Friday from 8-5.
